Tour Inclusions

Transportation:  All Tours and transfers in luxury air-conditioned vehicles, Safaris in 10 Seater Open Vehicles

Partially Guided:  All Transfers and Accommodation as well as some Tours and Activities have been pre-arranged.  Additional Tours and Activities can be booked upon arrival (for own account).

Accommodation:  Rooms of a 3-4 star standard with private facilities on a twin share basis.


All Transfers, Tours, Safaris, Accommodation, and Meals as set out in the Itinerary.


All flights, optional extra activities, National Park and River usage fees, VISA costs where applicable, lunches and dinners daily, soft and alcoholic drinks, travel insurance, tips and gratuities (it is customary in Africa to tip your guides), expenses of personal nature.

What to expect

Day 1:  Day of arrival

Nelspruit Kruger to Livingstone Zambia

You will be met upon arrival in Zambia and transported to the Zambezi Sun Hotel (or similar).  The numerous optional extra tours and activities that can be booked will then be discussed with you and all the necessary arrangements made on your behalf (not included in Tour price, for own account).   

Highly recommended:  “FLIGHT OF THE ANGELS” – a 15 minute helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls.  Alternatively you can relax by the swimming pool. Dinner (own expense) can be enjoyed at the restaurant.

Accommodation: Zambezi Sun Hotel Livingstone (or similar) (BB).

Day 2:  Livingstone Zambia

The Victoria Falls

Day at leisure to explore The Victoria Falls.  The Victoria Falls is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.  Spanning almost 1.7 kilometers, and split between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the mighty Victoria Falls can be seen from both sides of the Zambezi River and has two entrance gates.  The two entrance gates are close to both border posts, with the Victoria Falls Bridge connecting them.  It is possible to cross the Bridge on foot in order to view the Falls from the Zimbabwe side (VISA payable upon arrival).

Day 3:  Kasana Botswana

Transfer from Zambia to Botswana

You will be collected after breakfast for a road transfer (app 1.5hrs) to the town of Kasane in Botswana. Check into Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar) upon arrival.  Afternoon at leisure (please visit the leisure desk at the Lodge for additional tours/activities available), you might want to consider going on a 3 Hour pm boat cruise/safari – fantastic opportunity of encountering hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, antelope, water birds up close.  Dinner (own expense) can be enjoyed at the restaurant.

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge Kasane (or similar) (BB).

Day 4: Kasane Botswana

Chobe National Park

You will be collected early morning from reception for a 3 Hour Safari into the Chobe National Park with a qualified Ranger in an Open Game Viewer vehicle. Hopefully you will encounter some of the Big Cats today!!! After some leisure time you will move down to the jetty for a 3 Hour pm boat cruise/safari which is included in the Itinerary for today.  Chobe NP Entry Fees payable in CASH on the day (not included, for your own account)

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge Kasane (or similar) (BB).

Day 5:  Day of Departure

Livingstone Zambia to Johannesburg

Check out and departure after breakfast, you will be collected from reception for a road transfer back to Livingstone airport in time for your return flight to Johannesburg.


Tour will be booked through a reputable third party operator with all required permutations and insurances in place.

PASSPORTS ESSENTIAL!  International visitors need a VISA to enter Zambia which can be obtained in advance or purchased at the port of entry in cash at cost of around USD80pp for a double entry VISA.

Most International visitors do not need a VISA to enter Botswana.  Chobe National Park Entry fees are not included in the Tour price and is payable upon arrival.

A 25% non refundable deposit required to secure a booking, the balance is payable no later than 30 days prior to arrival, bookings made less than 30 days before departure will be required to pay full amount at time of booking

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.  Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival date and/or commencement of Safari/Tour/Activity - deposit plus 25% of total bill;  14 to 29 days - deposit plus 50% of total bill;  0 to 13 days - 100% of total bill.
