| | Andre Ferreira - Thursday, March 17, 2011TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Our family went for the first time to Maputo on 6 January 2011. We arrange with a local tour company to went into Mozambique. Therefore a tour guide was a necessity. We heard from my auntie to ask for Felicity Carey because she is "good". She was also last year October their tour guide into Mozambique. I was over the moon when it was confirmed that she will be our tour guide for the next day. She was sharply at my address in Marloth Park at 06.30. Full of energy, outspoken, in full control of anything (border post, coffee shop, station, tour of two hours in Maputo, Costa da Soll). Incredibly but she knows everything and have an answer for everything. Her knowledge over the spectrum - from sugar cane up to the revolution in Mozambique is incredible. The way she "handle" people positively is amazing - just because she believe in herself and a personality which attract people. Always a smile - a girl who loves the nature and the wild life.. As a tour guide she is an asset . Hope the Company will give her recognition.

For some reason, the trip home was a bit more challenging (multiple security checks and an SAA delay) but all is well in the end. Gorgeous weather here to come home to, so that was nice.

And last but not least the lovely Felicity. Very nice, funny and feisty guide! Would have never gotten in to problems with her with us. :) Not sure what trip was the best, as they were both so different. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for providing me with a fantastic trip to Maputo, Mozambique.
The time I had in South Africa was limited and I could only get one day off work, and your company was the only one that offered a one day trip to Maputo, amongst many other wonderful trips advertised on your very user friendly website. The services I received were amazing. It was completely professional, efficient, very helpful and most importantly got me the cheapest quote I could have imagined!
The trip itself was a booming success - and it has provided me with life long memories, that I will never forget. The trip was made even better by our OUTSTANDING guide, Felicity. She was helpful, accommodating, welcoming, had a great sense of humour, and was such a nice person. Her unbelievable and intimate knowledge of everything about Mozambique was so astonishing, I thought she ought to work for google! Her explanations about the social/political climate, the architechture of the buildings, and her knowledge of the local way of life was seriously impressive. I have never met such an amazing guide. Her knowledge of Portuguese was also fantastic, and it helped make the trip even more fun. She showed us how to barter with the locals and as such we all got great bargains! Lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean was a highlight and simply spectacular. We had a choice of seafood platter, with lots of culinary delights from the sea, or some Portuguese style chicken. Both were absolutely fabulous.
I truly recommend this company to anyone contemplating a trip. I had an amazing time and Maputo is a wonderfully diverse and interesting place. We got to see so much in such a short space of time, without ever feeling rushed in any way.
I will be forever grateful, so thank you.
